TL;DR

Use Torika to read content you have the right to read. We provide the app as-is and keep it local-first. Your App Store purchase is governed by Apple's standard terms; questions go to hello@momojilabs.com.

Using Torika

Torika indexes and reads files that already live on your devices. You're responsible for ensuring you have the right to access and read the content you add to your library. Torika does not host, sell, or distribute any books, manga, or comics.

Purchases

At App Store launch, Torika is a $19.99 lifetime, one-time purchase (Universal Apple Purchase — one purchase covers Mac, iPad, and iPhone). During the beta, Torika is free via TestFlight. All purchases, billing, and refunds are handled by Apple under the standard Apple Media Services and App Store terms.

The app is provided "as is"

We work hard to make Torika reliable, but it's provided without warranties of any kind. Momoji Labs isn't liable for data loss or other damages arising from use of the app. Always keep backups of your library files — Torika reads them in place and never modifies your originals, but your files are your responsibility.

Third-party services

When you opt in, Torika can talk to third-party metadata and tracker services (such as MangaBaka, AniList, MyAnimeList, Open Library, and NovelUpdates) and to servers you configure (Kavita, Komga, OPDS, WebDAV). Those services have their own terms and privacy policies, which apply to your use of them.

Privacy

Torika doesn't collect data about you or your library. See the privacy policy for the full breakdown.

Changes

If we update these terms we'll revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of Torika after a change means you accept the revised terms.
